Moar Alts!

I’ve had a second Warcraft account on and off over the years.  Mostly this was so that my friends and the kid I mentor could play WoW with me.  I recently have activated the account to play with a friend who mostly pays me in Pizza to have access to the account, but it’s also given me the opportunity to play a second set of alts.

Wingra (level 71+ NE balance druid)Created by the kid I mentor, leveled mostly by me, except on some occasions, this NE druid currently doesn’t get much play time.  He was leveled mostly as feral, but the kid always wants to cast hurricane, so I made him balance.

Monona (level 72+ human fire mage) – Because the kid I mentor wanted a “hot” toon, Monona was born.  He did a great job earning her gold through herbalism and got her epic flying at level 70, long before any of my toons ever got it.  Set to start Northrend, she’s been pretty idle.

Tygerlily (level 66+ draenei beast mastery/survival hunter)This toon was a name place holder originally for the friend of mine that started Kittykat (who later became Rossini – after the “grand olde operation”).  However, I think through the recruit a friend program, she was granted extra levels because no one else could take them, and so somehow she made it up some levels and into Outlands, it’s really a blur.  But there she is and started doing dungeons.  For me she was a hunter experiment, taming and trying out pets I never used before and playing specs I had never played before.  It was interesting, but has been good.  I liked survival better than BM spec, though.  She’s been a learning experience and gets some attention when I am bored.

Storbaht (level 71+ NE survival hunter)Properly named and created by my friend, this NE noob was his first toon and his introduction to WoW.  He’s learning, but has a long way to go.  He decided to go survival, a spec I had no idea about, so I respecced Tygerlily to learn more about it to help him out.  We’re still conquering basics like taking armor with more agility and targeting, but it’s getting better!!  Meaning no disrespect to my friend, this toon proved to me that anyone can level a hunter and live to tell about it.  Pets are a huge blessing for a new player to the game.  WE’ll see his potential as he continues to level up and power up.  So far there’s not much that stops him.

Linus (level 66+ worgen holy/shadow priest)Linus was originally human and again a toon used to absorb levels during recruit a friend.  I’ve been playing him a little more frequently to try holy spec and also to level up a worgen priest for the guild (hence the race change).  It’s been fun leveling a priest again, it reminds me of old days with Elgar, and it’s amazing though how different it is though too.  They really have lessened the damage of healing specs…questing as holy takes a long time!  I spent much time as shadow and have a greater appreciation for it than I ever did.  I’m also relearning holy as many thigns have changed since I healed with holy back in BC.

Jele (level 20+ human shadow priest)You can never have enough priests.  Ha!  Actually this toon was created after the kid I mentor, he wanted to try healing, but as usual, didn’t want to level.  Since Linus is further along, I focus on him.

Feuertig (level 22+ dwarf destruction warlock)Again, created because we needed a dwarf warlock for the guild.  I don’t know that he’ll get much playing time, but again, it’s fun to play him and see the different zones.  Not too much playtime though.  I was going to level him as demonology simply because of the beloved Felguard, but I have changed him now to destruction to get a flavor for that.  I’ve tried affliction on the Horde side and didn’t really take to it.  We’ll see how destruction works out!
